During the Ming Dynasty, the use of molds to make animal-shaped candy figures was documented. This craft is popular in Xuzhou, to make <em>tangren gong<\/em> (\u7cd6\u4eba\u8ca2) candy figurine offerings, mainly used for worship. In the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century, this craft became very popular as a street art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure
